Saqqara never disappoints and should be on everyone's ones list when they visit Egypt. King Djoser's pyramid is the first that was built. It differs from those in Giza in that its a step pyramid.. You can enter inside and look down to the maze and burial chamber. The complex is far more than this pyramid, with so much to explore.
