Where to Start… As Bek Donovan would say long post warning 😆 So grab a coffee 😆
Wow 🤩
The last few months for us as a family and business have been akin to a ‘pressure cooker’. Two months ago I contacted the master behind the Perth Showjumping League and said, give me the specs I’m going to be organised. The Hurdle Hustlers were born 🏆
For those that don’t know Shawn had to have emergency surgery in April24 for a blockage. So trooping home with kids, we left him in good hands in QLD and came back to hold down the fort.
So…team was organised, training was on 👊 As with all well laid plans. The last two days ensured we had to sub in a new horse and rider due to injuries. So we took Shawn out of mothballs, gave him a shake, pointed at the horses he needed to ride and said jobs on 👍
Thanks to Mike Bennett for graciously becoming team mascot so we could sub Shawn in.

Two super days and nights of Showjumping at PSL, a full team effort it was down to a half point, last rider of the show and a nail biting finish.
The Hurdle Hustlers had won, it was down to the time over the last fence. Spook March and Kentaur Airborne had done it 🙌
