Painting - Antifouling, two pack application, enclosed painting work area, acid washing and speciality applications

Engineering - Full in house engineering division

Mechanical - Petrol and Diesel Ser

vicing, inboards, outboards, stern drives, genset, repairs, installation

Electrial = 12 volt - 24 volt, new and rewiring, installation GPS/Sounders, radios, underwater lights etc. Stainless Steel/Steel/Aluminium Fabrication - All forms of Stainless steel work

Shipwright - Timber repairs, timber decking, new fit out and restorations, all forms of fibreglass repairs

Trimming - Leather and Vinyl upholstery, Hull liner and front runner application, all indoor and outdoor carpets, covers. Detailing - Full hull polish, washing/cleaning, graphics, bilge cleaning

Boat Crew - Master class 5 Skippers, Coxswain/deckhands, rope supply and Splicing.

As this vessel was lifted from the hardstand to the shed, our yard team closely montiors the movement, including from a scissor lift ensuring sufficient overhead clearance. One of the many checks ensuring safe and efficient operations.

We’ve had a special visitor at SFM Marine recently — a female southern elephant seal believed to have travelled from sub-Antarctic waters, taking a well-earned rest during her journey. A very rare sighting for Fremantle.
Thanks to insights from Minderoo Foundation Senior Strategic Advisor, Dr Steve Burnell, we were able to learn more about her likely origin, behaviour, and migration patterns, turning a chance encounter into a reminder of how connected our coastline is to the wider Southern Ocean ecosystem.
Moments like this reinforce the importance of environmental stewardship across our operations. Sharing our waterfront with wildlife is a privilege, and we remain committed to responsible marine practices that help protect these unique environments for future generations.
