Kicks 4 Kidz

Kicks 4 Kidz Collection locations are situated at all WAFL clubs and specific WA netball venues, plus sporting sponsors.

Kicks 4 Kidz is helping indigenous kids in the Pilbara and the Kimberly to grow their passion for football and inspire them to have fun, but also to understand responsibilities, and discipline in their developing lives. The Kicks 4 Kidz program has been created to improve the lives of young indigenous children, focusing on school attendance, numeracy and literacy, fitness, health and in particular

football and netball. By providing football equipment to these kids, through schools and communities, on reward based systems we can teach and encourage children to learn about healthy choices, understand diabetes, live a active and healthy lifestyle, while warning them of the dangers of alcohol and drugs. Football and Netball

The kicks 4 Kidz Program has formed a great base for football, but is also aware of the development of young women, and their need for fun, goal setting, discipline and participation in their lives. Kicks 4 Kidz will not only collect anything football, boots, socks, jumpers, hats, runners, drink bottles, but also netball skirts, tops, shoes, netballs, playing bibs, socks, hats, drink bottles and goal rings. Equipment collected will be transported to the Pilbara and Kimberly regions for distribution to the kids through schools and community programs throughout the year. Inquires on how to donate or to have a collection box at your business or sporting club please contact Rod Willet on 0411 550 776 or email [email protected]

Let’s help the kids of today have a better start from tomorrow and donate your unwanted football or netball equipment today.

Des Headland reacts to the death of George Floyd and writes it's hard for anyone who has not experienced racism to understand it. For people of colour, he writes, racism can destroy any semblance of self-worth in a split second.
