Looong weekend away for Pa's birthday.
Overnight stop at Greenbushes then down to Karri valley with friends. Enjoying the peacefulness and the wildlife.
Eaten way too much 😆.
Great trip out on the Pemberton tramway stopping at the cascades.
We allowed pa to sleep in one day.
He says he has had an awesome break.

September is Drop Bear awareness month.
This is when they are most active looking for a mate.
This makes them even more aggressive than normal.
Pa was almost taken prematurely by one but fortunately he had taken all the correct precautions.
Tell your friends to look up when out in the bush.
Vegemite behind the ears works well as they do not like the taste.

So after a great couple of weeks touring the drive home begins. A couple of days in Horrocks before the final leg.
Its been a great trip. Time to plan next year's journey.
Maybe a sneaky weekend away and something overseas later in the year.
