This custom full travel / storage cover was made for a 6m Formosa side console — a boat built tough for Australian conditions and right at home in the Top End. Formosa Boats are known for their strength and reliability, making them a great choice for serious fishing and remote adventures.
To match that capability, this boat now has a custom-made full cover from The Trim Shop, designed to protect it during travel and while in storage. Starting with a full pattern to ensure the perfect fit, the finished cover provides a clean, secure fit to handle the long road trips and harsh conditions these boats often see.

The Rottnest Channel Swim Association has cancelled the 2026 South32 Rottnest Channel Swim for safety reason due to forecast conditions.

Predicted conditions include significant southerly winds, which are not expected to ease, a strong south-to-north surface current and significant swell in the afternoon.

All participants have been notified of the cancellation via SMS, with further details and information provided on email. A statement is also available on our website.

The Rottnest Channel Swim Association acknowledges the swimmers and support crews who have trained, prepared and travelled for this event - thanks for your patience this week while our small but mighty team worked so hard right up to the final whistle.

This time, he’s been working on dry land — teaming up with Mark from 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐬 to create some sleek new seating for a local watering hole.

Jason’s been busy helping a client get ready for their trip to the stunning Abrolhos Islands. They needed some clever solutions for extra shade and storage on their boat — and he delivered!

He designed a versatile shade screen that can be easily fitted to either side of the awning, giving much-needed relief from the sun. He also manufactured two custom PVC bags that attach neatly to the bow rail — perfect for storing empty jerry cans.
