Our favourite DAME, Dr Brad Wohlers, is now also a PPL-holder! 👏🏼 He snuck that in while our intrepid HoO was away in July, and nobody thought to get a photo. Need your aviation medical? This is the man - we all pester him regularly!

Hot off the press, there's a brand new PPL-holder in the vicinity! Ethan Field just now passed his PPL test with Neil Baker 👏 We love our varied demographic here - Ethan's a plumber! But he's planning to continue on to CPL, so watch this space...

Our CPL graduate Pat Mercer passed his FIR Gr3 test today, with the merry crew at FlyOz in Cowra! 👏 We're delighted to have Pat join our team; he brings a wealth of commercial operational piloting experience, and he also lives on the Eyre Peninsula, which is fabulous news for our operations over there. Welcome Pat!

After departing Maitland at 0847, it was Siân's turn to refuel at Hay, under grey skies and rain. Back at Parafield at 1701, after a long day! A good day though. And the compulsory selfie, of course.

Our Troy withstands 40 knot wind in Maitland NSW to refuel the new kite! Unfortunately no ferry flight back to Parafield today due to severe weather, but we'll give it a red hot shot tomorrow.

This is the proper Lone Tree, Llyn Padarn, Llanberis. Allegedly one of the most photographed trees in the world. We don't teach track via Lone Tree when outbound to the Parafield training, because our intrepid HoO would simply use it as an excuse to fly the C172 direct to North Wales (which is where she is right now, pic taken today).
