🚧 Surface repair night work is taking place on Stuart Highway, between Bees Creek Road and Arnhem Highway.

Works will occur on Thursday 4 June and Friday 5 June (7pm-5am).

Stuart Highway will remain open during works with traffic management and signage in place.

UPDATE - The Arnhem Highway has reopened to traffic with a reduced speed limit in place near the bridge.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution.

The Arnhem Highway is CLOSED near the Adelaide River Bridge due to a road train crash.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible as delays are expected.

UPDATE 2pm - The closure is expected to remain in place until late afternoon.

Update - 5:10pm: Both lanes of the Stuart Highway about 3km north of Katherine are now open.

Earlier: Road closed - Serious Crash - Katherine

Northern Territory emergency services are responding to a serious crash in the Katherine region.

Just before 6:00am NT Police received reports of a single-vehicle rollover on the Stuart Highway about 3km north of Katherine.

The Highway is closed in both directions and is expected to remain so for ,ost of the morning.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and obey all directions at the scene.

The Northern Territory Police Force is responding to a crash on the East Arnhem Highway near Marrakai involving a road train.

The inbound lane has been partially blocked but the road remains open. Motorists are advised to take caution when approaching the area.

Road users are advised to drive with care and follow all traffic management and signage in place.

🚧 Stuart Highway 🚧

Road resealing works are occurring on an 8 km section of the Stuart Highway south of the Erldunda Roadhouse.

Works will occur between 6 am and 6 pm, Friday 29 May - Monday 1 April. The Stuart Highway will remain open during works.

Motorists are asked to comply with all traffic management and signage in place.

If you spot an issue on an NTG managed road, you can report it online so our teams can respond quickly and keep the network safe for everyone.

Issues you can report include:
• fallen trees
• flooding or water over road
• malfunctioning irrigation systems
• litter or vandalism
• road damage such as potholes
• broken signs.
• graffiti
• abandoned vehicles

UPDATE: 8:50AM - The Stuart Highway is now clear.

Emergency Services are currently responding to a two vehicle collision on the inbound lanes of the Stuart Highway between Howard Springs Road and Temple Terrace in Palmerston.

One inbound lane is currently closed as police work to clear the scene.

Motorists are advised to divert to Lambrick Avenue if possible as delays are expected until mid morning.
