Had this big girl for a few months now but haven’t posted due to busyness and my new found hatred of the transport industry

SON OF A GUNNER
2003 Kenworth K104 with a 530 horsepower Cummins signature pulling it along.
Originally a prime mover. Chassis was stretched in Sydney then brought down to Melbourne to be fitted with a brand new BTE tipper body and quad dog trailer.

It’s a tribute to the old boy. Carrying the “Hot Stuff” logo of the 108 field battery Royal Australian Artillery which Dad served with in Vietnam. Like Dads she’s old, loud and has already tried to kill me. A massive thank you to the 108 blokes for allowing me to use the logo. Dad was very proud to have served with you.

Due to unforeseen changes in work and customers she’s done plenty of miles already. Running all over country Victoria as well southern NSW and South Australia. Other than a few teething issues she’s run beautifully. It’s good to be back behind the wheel of a Kenworth.

There’s definitely been some tough moments since starting this business but yesterday was easily the toughest. My beautiful old Kenworth T601 suddenly lost power then burst into flames. Leaving two little girls pretty upset and the owner even grumpier than usual.

Massive thank you to the Koo Wee Rup and Lang Lang CFA brigades who were on the scene quickly and stopped the fire spreading to nearby paddocks. If Jacinta reads can you please finally get these legends some bloody new equipment.
