I have discontinued working as a shipwright because of arthritis and will not be blogging here. If you want to see what I'm up to check Safe Haven Marine Surveys. It's a lot easier on my hands.
Have a great day.

This week, an incident on a ship involving a pilot ladder parting in the middle while in use could have ended in tragedy. At the time, the person on the pilot ladder was thrown four metres into the water beside the ship, and yet remarkably, they were uninjured.

Safe pilot ladder arrangements are critical for ensuring safe vessel access. Following this recent incident, we will continue to sharpen our compliance and enforcement focus on pilot ladders.

For more information about pilot ladder arrangements, read this marine notice: http://ow.ly/Gy6w50OwbAC

My take on covid.
Let's free Sydney and do the 3
1. Stay home
2. If you gotta go mask up and sign in everywhere you go.
3. Vaccinate it's not too late.
Let's do the 3 to free Sydney
