What if you planned your week around your life, rather than your to-do list? 👀

I've been finding it helpful to start with what's actually happening in my week.

Appointments. Family commitments. Work. Things I'm looking forward to. Even a little time for myself.

Once I can see the shape of my week, I can then fit the things I need to get done around it.

Because our to-do lists don't exist in isolation — they have to fit into our actual lives.

Sometimes seeing everything laid out this way makes it much easier to work out what's realistic, what can wait, and where I might actually have a little breathing room.

What’s something you’ve squeezed into your busy calendar lately that made it all worthwhile? ❤️

We've had a particularly busy few weeks in our household, with all the usual family commitments plus my daughter performing with the Opera Australia Children’s Chorus in their regional tour of Don Giovanni.

There have been extra rehearsals, late nights, lots of juggling and plenty of help from the grandparents!

But seeing her up on that stage — and the absolute excitement on her face afterwards — made every bit of the running around worthwhile. 🥰

It was such a lovely reminder that our calendars aren't just filled with things we have to do.

They're also filled with the things we're making time for.

The special moments. ❤️
