Long haul for this gentleman Nowra -Cobar.
Back story: I had a lovely lady get in contact with me about a horse that she was looking at here in Nowra on an auction site for her 16yo daughter ( sadly didn’t get) and was wanting transport to Cobar.
Not many transporters go out that far to outback NSW, so when that horse fell through and mum was on the hunt again I felt the need to go on a hunt my self. Now as a transporter that is not my job. My job is to pickup and drop off and care in between for my passengers. She was after a specific type of horse wich made it abit tricky, never the less I put my thinking cap on…… now before we all make harsh comments about this particular dealer, him and I have a professional relationship, I certainly don’t go palming off everyone his way. They were after a particular horse and he had that particular horse which I have seen a few times for my self and knew it would be the perfect fit. This horse was so quiet and soo gentle (no he wasn’t drugged). I sent a few videos and offered to go over and take videos and pics my self, I rocked up unannounced and plucked him outa the yard and sent videos to this lovely family. “Taco” was one in a million. He had the looks, perfect shiny coat and the temperament. He had found is forever little human to love and dote upon.
Few days later I plucked him outa the yard in the dark and loaded him up. He loaded perfect. And off we went to Cobar an he traveled like a dream. Arriving at 7pm at the racecourse “Tacos” little human had finally got to hug and see her new 1st horse in the flesh. And when I say it was love at 1st site it was love at first site, this had given me the warm and fuzzies to almost cracking a tear. That horse just stood there and lapped up all the attention HE WAS HOME 💕 this was one of my favourite drop offs. As tired and exhausted I was these lovely people were an absolute breath of fresh air and yarned with them for ages, I musta said “goodbye” 4 times before I actually did go 😂😂 coulda stood there for ages. Can’t wait to see yous again, yous made me laugh 😆
“Taco” has settled in beautifully and was the perfect fit for this gorgeous girl. And being her first very own horse couldn’t have been a better match.
We do go out to Cobar peoples and we are a door to door service. We take great pride in what we do and go that extra mile for people.
