Pier Street Apartment Development is nearing completion! 🏗️

The 29-storey development will deliver 219 long-term rental homes in the Perth C*D, including a mix of social, affordable and market rental apartments.

The building structure and facade are now in place, with the fit-out of the final apartment levels and shared resident spaces almost finished. 🚧

Once complete, 195 Pier Street will provide secure, long-term rental housing and help increase housing supply close to jobs, services, and public transport.

The METRONET On Swan Ferry Service Expansion project is set to transform travel along the Swan River, delivering new public transport connections and supporting a more accessible and vibrant river network. ⛴️

Five new electric ferries are being designed and built in Western Australia, with work on the first vessel already underway in Henderson.

Each ferry will include onboard toilets, bicycle storage and comfortable seating, enhancing the travel experience for passengers, with services anticipate to commence from late 2027.

Construction is now underway on the New Mandurah Hospital, representing the region’s most significant investment in health infrastructure. 🏥🚧

The purpose-built facility will meet the growing needs of Mandurah and the wider Peel region, with an expanded emergency department, enhanced clinical services and additional inpatient beds to support more responsive and comprehensive care.

Located adjacent to Peel Health Campus, the new hospital will increase health care capacity and services, ensuring more people can access the care they need closer to home.

The New Mandurah Hospital offers expanded clinical capacity, enhanced patient care and improved access to vital health services. The new hospital will replace all current services at the existing hospital and expand and modernise public services offered at the campus.

The Geraldton Health Campus Redevelopment is now complete, delivering a modern healthcare facility for the Geraldton and Mid West community. 🏥🎉

The upgraded campus includes a larger emergency department, new intensive care and high dependency units, and expanded mental health services to support local patients and families, reducing the need for patients to travel to Perth.

Works are also progressing on the standalone radiation oncology unit, which will deliver the first cancer treatment service of its kind in the Mid West, providing access to specialist care closer to home.

The Balgo Hill (Wirrimanu) Airstrip project is complete, delivering reconstruction of the runway, taxiway and apron! ✈️

Other works included improved drainage and installation of new solar-powered lighting.

This project is part of the Aboriginal Community Airstrip Renewal Program (ACARP) and will support safe, year-round aviation access for one of WA’s most remote Aboriginal communities.

The upgraded Stirling Bus Interchange is now open, transforming one of Perth’s busiest public transport hubs and improving access to the Stirling City Centre! 🚌

Featuring 29 bus stands, the new Interchange is designed to meet future demand while providing an improved experience for public transport users.

Major road construction activities are now substantially complete, with the recent reopening of Cedric Street and the northbound on-ramp to the Mitchell Freeway marking a significant milestone for the project. 🚘
