- Valid B-Double (MC) licence
- Proven driving experience
- Strong knowledge of road safety and fatigue management

We are currently looking for qualified mechanics to join our team

We are seeking an experienced Fitter/Mobile Plant workshop Fitter to join our in-house Maintenance Team. Based out of our Albury depot , you will work across a range of fixed and mobile plant machinery, vehicles, trucks and everything in between.

This is a permanent, full-time position rotating roster monday-Friday one week, and Tuesday to Saturday the other week with guarantee of 10 hour per day (50+ hours per week 7:00 am to 5:30 pm

Afterhours call outs as required to be shared between all mechanics.

Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Perform minor and major repairs on mobile plant and fixed plant machinery, vehicles, trucks and everything in between.

- Conduct safety checks to ensure vehicles and equipment are roadworthy

- Carry out regular preventative maintenance on vehicles, mobile plant, and fixed plant machinery

- Service all mobile plant and fixed plant machinery and vehicles as per the scheduled program

- Follow safe operation procedures and report any damage or loss

- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment

- Report vehicle breakdowns or unavailability to Manager

- Complete all paperwork for all repairs or services

About You

- Diesel mechanic/mobile plant fitter qualification (or equivalent)

- experience in a similar role with strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

- Own tools not required tool supplied on site

- Valid driver’s license

- wages to be discussed based on experience and knowledge
- 4 weeks holidays per year
