🚵♂️ Senior Mountain Bike Coach – Bike On (Noosa)
Location: Noosa, Sunshine Coast
Hours: Casual or Full-time (negotiable)
Web: www.bikeon.com.au
Bike On is one of Queensland’s leading mountain bike education and experience providers — running after-school programs, skills clinics, school-based sessions, and guided tours across the Sunshine Coast. We’re proud to help riders of all ages progress safely, confidently, and with a big smile.
We’re looking for a Senior Mountain Bike Coach to join our Noosa-based team. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines advanced coaching delivery, program development, and operational support across our busy outdoor adventure business.
🔑 About the Role
As our Senior Coach, you’ll play a key role in shaping the quality and consistency of our MTB coaching programs — from beginner-level confidence sessions through to advanced and race development groups.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering high-quality MTB coaching sessions for riders of all levels (Beginner → Advanced) across Noosa, Parklands, Caloundra, and Gympie.
Mentoring and supporting newer and developing coaches.
Designing, documenting, and refining weekly and term-based coaching programs aligned with PMBIA principles and Bike On’s coaching framework.
Assisting with bike fleet maintenance, ensuring all bikes and equipment are trail-ready.
Supporting the operations team with logistics, equipment transport, and customer service.
Participating in occasional guided MTB tours and community events.
🧭 About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and leadership to our coaching team. You’ll be equally comfortable leading a session in the forest, mentoring a new coach, or lending a hand in the workshop.
You’ll need:
PMBIA or GSMBC Level 2 or higher (those without Level 3 must demonstrate the ability to deliver beginner, intermediate, and advanced lessons to a Level 3 autonomous standard and be prepared to achieve Level 3 as soon as practical).
Strong coaching experience with both youth and adults across a range of abilities.
Proven ability to plan, document, and deliver structured programs.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
A hands-on, positive attitude — ready to pitch in wherever needed.
Current First Aid + CPR, Working with Children Check (Blue Card), and Driver’s Licence.
Solid mechanical knowledge and familiarity with e-bikes.
🌿 Why Join Bike On
Be part of an award-winning Sunshine Coast business that’s growing the sport and community.
Work with a fun, passionate, and professional team.

A varied, outdoor-based role with a great balance of fieldwork and workshop support.
