Difference of NOT having a reverse chine at the bow - there's nothing stopping the nose from burying, and no lift generated (except propulsion power). You can also see the boat BROACH (steer into the wave)... look at the white-water track behind the boat, as it shows how much broaching the boat is doing on each wave.

The Waveriders (all of them) track straight with no broaching, and the reverse chines on the Omega ensure hydrodynamic lift at the bow when you need it most!!

200mm wide reverse chines for even BETTER offshore performance & stability!!!
Softest, driest, most stable ride in a mono-hull.
These huge 200mm wide chines go the full length, and remain full-width at the bow for maximum safety & lift in following sea conditions, and for capturing as much spray as possible to give the softest ride imaginable.
