This is the latest Mooloolaba River entrance survey ( 3rd October) from MSQ show how the Bar is changing on a weekly basis. Stay vigilant when crossing the bar ..stay safe…!

The latest information about the Mooloolaba river entrance Bar from MSQ.
Be mindful of the state of the tide when transiting the Bar as conditions can be worse at low tide.
Stay safe out on the water.

Attention skippers – Mooloolaba shoaling event

Skippers are urged to navigate the Mooloolah bar crossing with extreme caution. Coastal bars are dynamic and conditions can change quickly.

📍 Our latest hydrographic survey conducted on Friday shows the shoal appears to be naturally dissipating.
⚓ Vessel operators are advised to use the western channel.
🦺 In Queensland, you must wear a *lifejacket when crossing a coastal bar.

Mariners are advised to check conditions carefully and use the deeper water available in the Western Channel which is marked by Virtual aids to Navigation.

After a winter break it was nice to get back on the water and help Tyson successfully complete his RMDL license training.. congratulations Tyson.
