A little bit about Mingbool Livestock Haulage Pty Ltd...
Mingbool Livestock Haulage was established in October 2015 by Glen ‘Shorty’ Paterson.
The start of Shorty’s dream being an owner driver had finally become reality. Starting out with one truck with the possibility of two, a few subcontractors decided to also run under the Mingbool Haulage banner. Within a few years of being a successful business owner, more Kenworth trucks and B Double Livestock Crates were brought.
Over the last 5 years, Shorty had brought 7 of his own Kenworth trucks.
Shorty was a well known bloke who loved carting cattle throughout Australia.
Unfortunately on the 10th February 2020, we lost our very much loved Shorty in a tragic truck accident.
Everyone that had the chance to meet Shorty in his short 39 years, agrees that he definitely made an impact on their lives. He was a fun, loving, carefree larrikin that was always up for a chat, coffee or beer / Captain Morgan. He loved being with his family, mates and in his truck.
On behalf of myself, our son Jorge and the team at Mingbool Haulage, we do thank everyone for there love and support during the last 7 weeks.
I wish to let everyone know that in honour of Shorty and his dreams, I have decided to take on and become Director of Mingbool Livestock Haulage and keep the wheels turning.
