​When you step off the platform at Goolwa during this weekend’s Grand Fleurieu Rail Fest (Oct 17–18), pop next door into the historic Goods Shed between 11:30 am and 4:30 pm to raise a glass to four decades of the Cockle Train! 👇

This October 17th and 18th, SteamRanger celebrates its 40th anniversary, a milestone made possible by the dedication of volunteers who keep our railway heritage running for future generations to enjoy.

To mark the occasion of the 40th year and the Grand Fleurieu Rail Fest, we’re delighted to offer Steam Ranger Ale, a commemorative brew with profits from its bottle sales going to support SteamRanger and the wonderful work of its volunteers.

With plenty happening around the Goolwa Wharf this weekend, we’d love you to call into Fleurieu Distillery, enjoy an ale or pick up a few bottles to take home.

Every bottle purchased helps support the next chapter of this much-loved railway story.

🥞 All Aboard "Bill’s Breakfast Brill" – Celebrating 40 Years of the Victor Harbor Tourist Railway! 🎉

​Join us for a truly rare opportunity to step back in time and celebrate 40 wonderful years of the Victor Harbor Tourist Railway!

​We are firing up our vintage 1920s 75-class Brill railcar for a special morning breakfast run between Goolwa and Victor Harbor. Let this classic railcar rattle its way along the coast before treating yourself to a hearty breakfast at the iconic Hotel Victor.

Join us for a unique evening journey aboard the iconic Cockle Train.

From Goolwa, travel along the stunning Fleurieu coastline to Victor Harbor as the day fades into evening and enjoy a rare chance to experience this famous railway journey at sunset.

In Victor Harbor there is ample time to enjoy a hotel dinner, at your own cost, before the return journey to Goolwa.

Tickets are $44 for Adults, $40 Concessions, $22 for kids or $112 for a family.

Hop aboard our recently restored Brill rail car and watch the morning sunlight shine over the Fleurieu as you run express from Goolwa to Victor Harbor.
Enjoy a buffet breakfast at Hotel Victor before your return journey, crossing over with the double headed steam at Middleton on the way back to Goolwa.
