👋 Hi, I’m Zoe — founder of Remove & Rehome. About a year ago, I reached out to the local community to see if there was interest in a service that helps find new homes for pre-loved furniture and household goods, especially during moves or downsizing.
The response was incredible — and just like that, Remove & Rehome was born.

Since then, over 800 items have been rehomed across Sydney, keeping them out of landfill and giving people a smart, sustainable alternative to buying new.

If you’re moving, downsizing, or just want to clear some space, I’d love to help. I take care of everything: photography, listing, negotiations, and collection logistics - so you don’t have to.

Big thanks to for the shout-out this week! Today we met a lovely local Mosman resident who’d spotted it, and needed a hand selling a few pieces to make room for some fresh new styling.

While we were there, we couldn’t help but spot a stunning work by local art Timothy Johnston. His work has been on Zoe’s wish list for a while now!

Remove & Rehome started by me telling off my neighbours for being wasteful around council clean-up time and then me helping them sell / rehome their stuff rather than sending it to landfill😳. I never imagined it would grow to what it has and I am so grateful for the support 🥹.

🪑 Over 540 furniture items rehomed
♻️ 17,000 tonnes saved from landfill
🌳 Equivalent to planting 780 trees

Earlier this month Remove & Rehome was invited to speak at the Council Waste Educators Meeting about creating a circular economy for furniture & household goods. ♻️🪑
So far, over 540 pieces of furniture have found new homes. That's over 17,000 tonnes that could have ended up in landfill! Or the equivalent of planting 780 trees 🌳💪 .
Remove & Rehome started as a passion project and I am blown away by the response and support the community is showing. Thank you so much 🫶
