πŸŒŠβ˜€οΈ Our Wollongong Drive proved to be one of our most popular trips yet, with four buses full of day-trippers.

With stunning coastal views, plenty of fresh sea air and great company, the day offered the perfect opportunity to relax, socialise and take in the beauty of the South Coast.

We love seeing so many people keen to join our outings and look forward to many more adventures together! πŸ’™

At St George Community, we like to think it's not so much about where we go - it's about the people we share the day with.

Whether it's a coastal walk, lunch at a favourite local spot or a simple shopping trip, our goal is always the same: good company, plenty of laughs and making sure everyone has a great time.

Our recent trip to Dollar World was a perfect example. There were some fantastic bargains, a few unexpected purchases and lots of laughs along the way. πŸ›οΈπŸ˜Š

A special thank you to our wonderful carer Pam for getting everyone involved in creating this fun video, and thank you to Dollar World AU for having us!

🎢 Music, friendship and plenty of smiles at our visit to the Sing Your Heart Out Choir in Bexley North.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, encouragement and a whole lot of enthusiasm. Before long, everyone was singing along and enjoying the uplifting atmosphere.

There is something special about singing together. It can lift your mood, reduce stress, boost confidence and bring people together. Judging by the smiles around the room, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

A big thank you to the wonderful Sing Your Heart Out Choir for making us feel so welcome. πŸ’™

Interested in singing regularly? The choir meets every Thursday during school terms at the Kingsgrove Bexley North Community Hall.

If you would like to attend regularly and need transport assistance, please contact St George Community on 9585 3000 and we can help you get there.

Frank decided to have a cheeky nap on our recent outing to Hyde Park Barracks! πŸ˜„

While exploring the fascinating sleeping quarters, Frank couldn't resist trying out one of the hammocks. The display sparked plenty of conversation, with many surprised to learn that up to 70 men once slept in a single room, with rows of hammocks hung side by side and very little personal space.

Equipped with audio guides, everyone was free to wander through the Barracks at their own pace, uncovering the stories of the convicts, immigrants and workers who once passed through its doors.

It was a fascinating day of discovery, history and a few laughs along the way!

Harbour views, good food and even better company! πŸš’β˜€οΈ

This week we enjoyed a scenic ferry ride from Circular Quay to Cabarita, taking in beautiful waterfront views along the way.

We started the day with morning tea at the iconic City Extra before boarding the ferry, then finished with a delicious lunch at Canada Bay Phoenix.

Days like these are all about getting out and about, connecting with friends and enjoying new experiences together.

Interested in joining us on a future outing? Call Brad or Harvey on 9585 3000 to find out what's coming up.

What a great day out at Warwick Farm Racecourse Racecourse πŸ‡πŸΏ

We enjoyed lunch, caught up with friends, watched the races, and cheered on a few favourites. Some of us may have had a small flutter!

It was a relaxed and enjoyable day with plenty of laughs and good conversation.
