Dionysius Transport Services is a family operated business that specialises in transporting containers in and around the South - East Queensland areas. We specialise in providing importers and exporters transport solutions in delivering containers to or from their door step. We are a family business founded on friendly and reliable service that has grown into a progressive transport company.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic customer focused individual to build relationships and enhance customer satisfaction and retainment.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
• Understand all areas of the Transport and Warehouse operations to ensure assistance can be provided in an operational manner when required
• Develop a strong knowledge and retention of client and customer requirements
• Develop & recommend customer service strategies, including the education for operational team members to ensure standards and expectations of their roles are of a high standard
• Assist with market analysis, business development activities, company analytics and initiative projects
• Conduct research to identify new markets, customer leads and needs to create revenue streams to provide to the Business Development Manager
• Help identify opportunities and undertake the creation of marketing and promotional campaigns such as electronic communication, meetings and/or presentations to new or existing clients for the Business Development Manager
• Assist in developing quotations, proposals, presentations and associated contracts, ensuring all outstanding quotes are followed up upon and actioned accordingly
• Manage all sub-contractor and contractor expense processing of invoicing and administration tasks

• Proficiency in multi-tasking, prioritisation and problem solving
• Maintaining and communicating up-to-date rates and industry information
• Intermediate skills across the MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An understanding of the road transport, sea freight and air freight industry
• High attention to detail, professionalism and positive attitude
