💚🐸 Before We Celebrate Our 2nd Birthday…

Before we celebrate Hop On Tours turning 2 this July, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come.

What started as a simple idea between Frog (Fremone), Brian, Maddog (Maddie) and our family has grown into something we never imagined.

Over the past two years we’ve shared weddings, airport transfers, special occasions, celebrations, community events, early mornings, late nights and countless adventures with some truly amazing people.

We’ve met locals, welcomed visitors, built friendships and created memories that will stay with us forever.

Like every family business, there have been challenges along the way, but there have also been so many moments of laughter, support and kindness from this incredible community.

For that, we are forever grateful.

As we get ready to celebrate our birthday in July, we’d love to hear from you.

💍✨ What a Weekend ✨💍

Over the past few days, Hop On Tours had the privilege of helping transport guests for a truly beautiful wedding celebration here in Tropical North Queensland.

From airport arrivals and guest transfers to ensuring everyone arrived safely throughout the celebrations, it was an honour to play a small role in such a special occasion.

A huge thank you to Louise and the incredible team at Dynamic Weddings for their organisation, professionalism, and for trusting us to assist throughout the event.

To the wonderful team at Elandra, thank you for creating such a stunning backdrop for what was an unforgettable celebration.

Most importantly, congratulations to the bride and groom. 🤍

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your wedding journey and for welcoming us so warmly. It was a pleasure meeting so many wonderful guests, families and friends over the weekend. The smiles, conversations, selfies, and memories shared are exactly why we love what we do.

We wanted to share a personal update with our community.

Due to a recent decline in Brian’s health, it’s with an extremely heavy heart that we let you know he won’t be well enough over the coming months.

This is something we’re still coming to terms with as a family. Brian is such a big part of Hop On Tours — not just behind the scenes, but in the heart of everything we do. His strength, humour, and care for people have shaped this business from day one.

Right now, our focus is where it needs to be — with Brian and our family.

We are incredibly grateful for the support, patience, and kindness this community has already shown us. It truly means more than we can put into words.

All existing wedding bookings and airport transfers remain confirmed and will continue to run.

At this stage, we won’t be taking on or committing to additional in-town bookings, as things are a little uncertain and our focus needs to remain with family. We truly appreciate your understanding around this.

We’ll still do our best to help where we can, but there may be times where we’re simply not available.

I personally won’t always be on the phone, as I’ll be spending time with my family and helping where I’m needed most.

Thank you for standing by us, for your compassion, and for being part of our journey — not just as a business, but as a family.

We’re not going anywhere. We’re just taking the time we need.

Important Update from Hop On Tours 💚

To our Mission Beach community, visitors, and everyone who has supported us,

Due to Brian’s current health situation, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend Hop On Tours services until his health is no longer a concern.

Brian’s wellbeing has to come first right now, and we feel it’s the responsible thing to pause operations while he focuses on getting better.

We sincerely apologise to anyone with existing bookings who may be affected by this decision. We understand this may cause inconvenience and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

The support we’ve received from this community and from travellers passing through has meant the world to us, and we are incredibly grateful.

We hope to return to the road once Brian’s health has improved and things are back on track.

Hello everyone ,

Over the past few weeks we’ve been incredibly busy here at Hop On Tours and we just wanted to say a genuine thank you to everyone who has supported us lately 🙏

Airport runs, weddings, backpackers, locals heading into town — the vans have definitely been getting a workout.

At the moment we’re running with just one driver (the Frog 🐸) while a couple of our team members take some time off to look after their health.

So if replies are a little slower or you see the same driver everywhere lately… now you know why 😅

We’re incredibly grateful for the patience, kindness and support from the Mission Beach community and all the visitors passing through.

Small local businesses only work because of people like you.

We didn’t grow up here.

But after two years on these roads,
it feels like we accidentally stepped into
a very loud, very friendly Mission Beach sitcom.

Every day has its familiar cast:

the guest who’s been ready for 20 minutes,
the one still packing when we arrive,
the DJ in the back seat,
and the voice asking if we’re late
before we’ve even left the driveway.

Somewhere between sunrise pickups,
wedding day nerves,
and airport runs that never quite slow down,

this stretch of Mission Beach quietly became home.

A full van is never quiet.
It’s singing, laughing,
and conversations that only make sense
to the people inside that moment.

Belonging, apparently,
sounds like organised chaos
rolling down a coastal road
with the windows open.

At Hop On Tours, everyone arrives safe.
That’s the part we never compromise.

And if you ever hear someone shout
“Frog!” or “Maddog!” from the front seat…

you’ve officially made the episode.
