A shared morning tea is a great way to bring people together – but last Friday it carried a much bigger purpose.

Meet Zach Kinash, 2IC to the AM (Morning) Manager at our Broadmeadows depot in Victoria.

“My job is to oversee all operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.”
After six years with Allied Express, Zach knows all too well how quickly things can change on the floor – and the importance of staying one step ahead. He says his love of sport helps keep his head in the game.

“I’m really into my rugby – the intensity and physicality of the game is second to none. I think that’s one of the reasons I enjoy being on the depot floor so much – and working as part of a team.”

His role is all about connecting with our customers and building genuine long-term relationships that continue to deliver real outcomes.

Recently installed at our NSW depot, the roller-bed manual sortation system creates a more organised and structured environment on the floor – key to keeping our people safe.

Working alongside our depot teams, it supports the management of high volumes of larger size freight items, keeping everything moving smoothly, even when things ramp up.

More control on the floor means better outcomes for our teams – and our customers.
