Wednesday 16th April the station had a visit from the children at Merriwa Activity Centre - They got to look through the station and one of the vintage carriages on display . Thanks to James Constable for opening up and showing them all around .

Well . Great work at the station with the painting and repairs - Not so much by the handywork of the towns future centerlink and corrective services customers .. Some glass smashed on carriages and one locked carriage broken into . As well as many smashed windows on the goods shed that were donated by Menzies glass , also an attempt to break into the empty shipping container ... congratulations dh's !

Merriwa Railway station precinct is now open to the public again . The security fences are down and all works completed .
