The team at our kraft paper mill in Tumut, New South Wales, has donated six fire hose washers to local fire brigades.

Firefighting hoses accumulate soot and fire gas residue, and the washers use a high-pressure water jet to reduce the amount of time that crews need to spend cleaning the hoses.

We’re proud to play a part in supporting the firefighters who protect the region every day.

At our Wodonga board site, safety is a team effort—and a conversation we keep alive, not a one-off event. The site uses shared safety lessons, works together to better assess risk and prevent injury and quarterly safety campaigns to keep safety fresh and relevant.

In their latest campaign, the team made personal safety pledges and stuck them to cardboard cut outs as a visual reminder of their commitments.

It’s a great reminder of the impact we can have when we all look out for one another.

Congratulations to Rebecca Tipene, from our beverage can site in Auckland, who’s shortlisted as a finalist in this year’s PrintNZ 2026 Apprentice of the Year.
