A young man sits hunched over his grandmother’s old sewing machine in a shed in Ballarat, Australia. He’s trying to sew through a truck tarp to make a bag strong enough to carry a slab of beer home on his bike. The principles behind the pattern have remained the same – simplicity, a willingness to experiment, original design, and a determination to make the best bag possible for people who know how to live. Adventurers, photographers, riders, designers, makers, thinkers, doers.

The Comfort Zone is a classic messenger shape with a secure two-buckle and velcro closure. Features the Crumpler Easy Lift and Shift shoulder strap with an adjustable cam buckle, a removable shoulder pad, and a third-leg stabiliser strap. Finished with reflective trim detail and 3 internal sleeve pockets.

Available in size Large and Small.

Cut and sewn by hand in our Melbourne workshop.
The body is made from a heavy-weight 1000D Nylon Cordura fabric, incredibly strong, tear resistant, and water resistant. The flap mixes that same Cordura with a waxed 500D Regenerated Nylon Ripstop, made from 100% consumer nylon waste. The wax adds water resistance and the fabric develops a natural patina with time.

Available in four sizes: CD1, Barney, Cahoot and Teenie We**ie.
