I have been lucky enough to experience Aurora Expeditions newest ship - Douglas Mawson on her maiden expedition around Tasmania
An amazing small ship with around 120 passengers we have been lucky to see Tassie from a different point of view.
Weather conditions have been tough but we managed to make the most of our opportunities-this is what Expedition Cruising is all about.

Travelling to Thailand after 1st May ?

Travellers heading to Thailand! Starting 1 May 2025, all non-Thai nationals arriving in Thailand by air, land, or sea will be required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) within 3 days of arrival.

This new digital system will help speed up the immigration process, making it more efficient, secure, and paper-free—so say goodbye to those paper forms!

How to Apply: The application is easy and can be done online at https://tdac.immigration.go.th

PSA - As of 8th January 2025 Australian & Kiwi passport holders (& a number of other Countries) are required to obtain an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) to enter the UK.

Cost is £10 & once approved lasts for 2 years & allows you to enter the UK for upto 6months as a tourist.

The process can be done via website see below or app on your phone - currently website is working best. It can take upto 72hours - so don't wait until the last minute.

This is not a Visa & so if you passport requires a Visa to enter the UK you will still have to apply for Visa to enter UK

Of course to all my wonderful clients I will remind you so you don't get stuck. To those who book elsewhere - check rules with your provider.
