The Food Truck Lovers are looking for expressions of interest from traders in regards to being a part of a new pop up food truck site that we are in the process of securing in Balaclava. Just off Carlisle St, and within very close walking distance of the Balaclava Train Station, this is sure to become a new hot spot for foodies and families over the coming summer season.
This location is to feature a rotating roster of up to 6 Food Trucks each session. We are now accepting expressions of interest from Food Trucks for the 2017/2018 summer events and would love you all to apply!
**THERE IS NO ACCESS TO POWER ON SITE, SO YOU WILL ALL NEED TO OPERATE FROM YOUR OWN GENERATORS**
We will be working on 5 savoury trucks and 1 sweet option per session.
TRADERS :
- Please note you need to complete the entire form for us to process it. We won’t consider incomplete applications. If there are any issues with the form, please let us know so we can troubleshoot before the process closes.
- As we are a small truck operations team we ask for your patience as we generally have over 80 applicants every month.
- You will only hear from us when your fully completed application form has been approved and we have allocated you a trading date.
- We are not currently accepting applications from marquee based stalls and only accept entirely self-contained, self powered, Food Trucks.
** NB ** The 2017/2018 days and hours of trading for Food Trucks are:
SATURDAY – 12pm – 10pm
EOI’s close 12pm Thursday 16th of November!
Additional Information:
- Each Day of trade is a single session of trade. We do not permit Vendors to only trade half of a day (for example a lunch and not a night), due to OH&S issues with truck movements onsite.
- Power is not available onsite, you must have your own generator.
- Food Vendors will be required to arrive on-site at least 1 hour prior to hours of trading.
- While there are rubbish and recycling bins provided for customers, Food Vendors must take home their trade rubbish and recycling each night.
Vendors will:
- Be required to provide a certificate of Public & Product Liability Insurance (Value of $10 Million) and Food Handling.
- Once informed of any successful date(s), an invoice will be issued for the corresponding site fee(s) and must be paid within 14 business days.
- Not be permitted to consume alcohol on-shift, or be intoxicated at any times.
