🎨Have you ever spotted Werribee Mansion, the You Yangs or Werribee Beach on your way to catch a train? Well, now you can!

New artwork has been installed at Werribee Station as part of the Transporting Arts Program, a partnership between Transport Victoria, Metro Trains and Wyndham City transforming the station underpass into a colourful celebration of the places, landscapes and stories that make Wyndham unique.

Created by local artist Ayelet Brooks, Reflections of the Flow features iconic local landmarks including Werribee Mansion, Wyndham Harbour, Werribee River, Point Cook Wetlands, Werribee Open Range Zoo, Victoria State Rose Garden and the You Yangs.

The Transporting Arts Program brings local art into Victoria's transport network, helping create more welcoming public spaces while showcasing the talent and creativity of local communities.

Due to external industrial action, from first service Tuesday 1 September, buses will replace trains between Sunbury and Watergardens and between Cranbourne and Dandenong.

We thank passengers for their patience and we advise passengers to plan their journey ahead of travelling.

Due to industrial action, buses will replace trains between Watergardens and Sunbury, and Dandenong and Cranbourne, from Tues 1 Sept until further notice.

We’re working closely with Metro Trains Melbourne to minimise disruptions. We know delays and changes to your journey are challenging, so please be kind to the staff on the ground working to keep services running.

This made our day. 😊

Recently, a passenger who was feeling unwell at Arden Station was assisted by Customer Service Officer Offie, who stayed by their side, provided water and a snack, and made sure they were okay until family arrived.

A few days later, the passenger returned with a handwritten thank you card, chocolates and a beautiful hand-drawn sketch of Arden Station.

A simple gesture, but one that means so much. Stories like this show the care and compassion our people bring to work every day. Thank you Offie!💙

🎉 Happy 5th birthday to Evie and 1st birthday to Evette. 🎉

They're not on the timetable, but they're among Metro's hardest-working rail vehicles.

Evie, short for Evaluation Vehicle 120 (EV120), collects critical data that helps us monitor the condition of our rail network. Her partner, Evette, is a recommissioned Comeng train that gives Evie a lift across Melbourne's rail network.

Together, they help us identify issues sooner and make better-informed maintenance decisions.

A huge thank you to the teams behind this dynamic duo that helps keep Melbourne moving every day. 🚆👏

Ever wondered how we prepare for Melbourne's busy spring events season?

One way is through our annual track walk between Newmarket and Flemington Racecourse stations, where teams inspect infrastructure and stations ahead of the months to come.

These proactive inspections help ensure we're ready for the hundreds of services that will run to and from Flemington Racecourse and the Melbourne Showgrounds throughout spring.

As part of Rail Safety Week, Melbourne's most iconic station was illuminated in Tracksafe yellow to remind everyone to stay safe around trains, tracks and stations.

Metro's Community Education team has been excitedly showing off their new VR experience at Broadmeadows Shopping Centre this rail safety week.

Users are able to step into a virtual rail environment and experience real-world scenarios that show why staying safe around trains can save lives.

The experience has been put through its paces by the teenagers and the team has been getting great feedback. Get down before Sunday to try it yourself!
