Well Corroboree Billabong, that is pretty impressive!
I haven`t ever seen the water this high before and our pontoon is now floating up level with the roof of the toilet block....and the water is still rising. Fortunately,, it`s rising much slower now due to the massive expanse of the flooding but we could still see the toilet block go under...it`s not over yet. Cheers Paul.

Corroboree Billabong Update.
Well, we did see the floor of the toilet block earlier last week...but that was last week! The low that has causing all the trouble for Katherine is now having some fun with us and our turn has come. The Mary River was over the bridge this morning at the Arnhem Highway which means there is a shipload of water coming our way still over the next 2 -3 days and i wouldn`t be surprised to see the toilet block go completely under. I`ll put another post or 2 up as the water level progresses for those who are interested. What an awesome wet season.... but that is enough now. Cheers Paul.

Happy Sunday everyone.

It`s been a long time coming but we have some great news to finish off your weekend, in-case you haven`t already heard. Corroboree Billabong Houseboats will be open again this year with your beloved houseboats and BBQ boats.

We took over the business at the end of last year and we can`t wait to make some much needed improvements once we get things going again. Some improvements will take a little time so please be patient, but easy things like nice clean boats, including thermocells and having optional Starlink with your houseboat hire are just a few of the things we have planned.

We will have the BBQ boats operational from early April (subject to road access) and the houseboats from late May once we have finished getting them through survey (which is a huge process).

Our website is up and running though still not quite finished, and we have an online booking facility now available there too, so get in quick and book your dates before it`s too late. www.corroboreehouseboats.com.au

It`s been a fantastic wet season so far and the billabong has had a great flush out. This 1st Image here is of the carpark when water levels peaked last weekend, not saying that it`s over yet though by any means. The 2nd image ( once you look a bit closer) is showing one of our local wet season guests catching some sun up on our walkway.... love seeing Fresh water crocodiles around the workplace.

Anyway, we look forwards to welcoming you out at Corroboree Billabong at some stage during the season.
