The Ferrari No Longer Builds This — So a 100-Year-Old Coachbuilder Did
No current Ferrari offers a manual gearbox on a V12. Not the 12Cilindri, not anything else in the lineup. So Touring Superleggera — the same coachbuilder behind the Aston Martin DB5 — took a customer's own Ferrari 550 Maranello and rebuilt it into something the factory won't: a fully carbon-bodied, targa-roofed grand tourer with a naturally aspirated V12 and a proper six-speed gated manual. This is the Veloce12 Aperta, the third and most complete chapter of Touring's 550 restomod program. Reportedly priced from €690,000 before you even supply the donor car. Manual V12 or modern paddle-shift supercar — which one actually deserves to survive? Tell us below. 🇮🇹🏎️
