As a result (and as is common with all wood) there is a chance there are minor visual imperfections (small knots etc) that are simply unavoidable. Wood is by nature an imperfections medium and part of the reason we love working with it, its tendency to lend character to each unique piece. Our sculptures also vary in colour, structure, texture & petrified cracks are likely, any of these variati
ons are POSSIBLE, our sculptures are like pounamu you drop it, it will break or chap away, so handle with care
Please allow approx. 1- 21 days production on our sculptures, Headstones, Letter box, and Larger sculptures please allow up to 3 - 6 months depending on weather conditions
DEPOSIT ON CUSTOM ORDERS
It is of the utmost importance that you are very clear with the specifications you give us to craft your item - after all, you can see the item in your mind's eye, but we can’t, so we only have the information you give us to build a picture of the piece you'd like crafted. If you have a specific design in mind, it would be very helpful if you could send thru the pictures or sketches or at least a very detailed description, eg: Size of the carving or sculpture, Colour of the timber you would like, and if the sketch/photo of the carving you are wanting to be identical to the sketch or similar, extra paua shell added etc... We will not take responsible if you are not clear with the description of your piece, To confirm your order 50% deposit is required within 48 hrs after all information and price is confirmed, and client has agreed with terms, if this is short notice 1 - 2 weeks before pick up of carving, we would require deposit on the day of contact....Any deposits are a security that this contract will go ahead and are not refundable. Please be aware that this is a binding contract. Cancellations will not be accepted after confirmation of your booking...
NB: Please note that with personalized or custom items, we're unable to give refunds or exchange, because you simply changed your mind. Our product is all hand carved so it will vary in the sketch or photo that you or I supply. We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. Everything is Hand carved and custom made, so our carvings are never the same...

Shell Inlay (we use Nz Paua shell) this needs to be treated every year or so before the paua shell starts to fade, we use Crommelin gloss sealant, or any concrete solvent base sealer, we pour or spray onto the paua shell directly, the more coats the better, this can be brought from any hardware, Bunnings store..... it is not OUR responsibility to remind the client of any deadlines....Keep in mind Paua Shell is very HIGH maintenance, and will need to be sealed every year.
