Unless a lower speed limit applies, by law motorists must slow down to 40km/h when bus lights flash, as this means the bus is picking up or dropping off school children who may be crossing or about to cross the road.

📢 Important Update for Students & Families

As the moratorium has now ended, students are required to show a valid bus pass when travelling on our services.

If you have applied for a pass but have not yet received it, your application number (N-### or UN-###) can be used as a temporary bus pass. Please note that it may take up to two weeks from the time of application to receive your physical pass.

If your student is not eligible for free travel, they can either:
• Pay the fare when boarding, or
• Purchase a Term Pass through Buslines.
