We are now looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team.
Some of your duties and Experience will include:-
Experience in food manufacturing and food safety management systems is desirableGood understanding of HACCP, SQF code, HARPS and export work plans of citrus.Must have good communication skills and computer skillsYou will lead, set examples and be responsible for the day-to-day Quality Assurance Activities for the company.You will be responsible for ensuring compliance of food safety and quality standardsYou must have prior experience in dealing with audits and dealing with people across many levels and diverse backgrounds.You will review, implement, and maintain food safety program to improve effectiveness of food safety programs.You will provide quality standard and food safety training needs of all staff to ensure they are competent.You will oversee quality control officers to ensure that monitoring activities, product inspections, product retentions, and other pre-requisite programs are carried out.You will ensure that adequate resources are available to achieve company’s food safety and quality objectives.You will be responsible in the operations to drive quality performance, meeting specifications and complying to regulations.Some of your duties includes: managing and analysing customer complaints; managing recall team; conducting management review and crisis review; verification and validation; leading SQF and HARPS audits; conducting where necessary internal/external/supplier audits; root cause analysis of non-conformances; maintaining pest management program; and any critical tasks associated with the role.Preferably you have tertiary qualification in food science or equivalent, and an understanding/experience of food industry is highly essential. An experience in the food industry is highly desirable and specific experience in fresh produce is preferred.
