Important survey for the region.

Dear Primary Producer,

RDAEP is undertaking an 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 to identify and understand the key needs, gaps, challenges and opportunities here on the Eyre Peninsula.

This project seeks to capture local intelligence to inform decision-making, policy formulation, resource allocation, and project planning by identifying what is necessary to improve agricultural productivity, sustainability, and livelihoods across the Eyre Peninsula.

To assist with this local intelligence capture and inform the development of the Agricultural Needs Analysis for the Eyre Peninsula, ensuring it is an accurate reflection of the key needs, gaps, and priorities for the region, you are invited to complete a short online survey via the following link:

Kimba and surrounds - make the most of this free workshop.

As part of the SA Government Drought Response Program, I’m bringing FREE Workbench for the Mind sessions to regional South Australia to help people strengthen mental fitness using practical, everyday tools.

Save the date!

WA Mack Muster & Truck Show Convoy Meet-Up Rolling into Kimba! 🚛

Kimba will be a key gathering point for trucks from right across Australia as they make their way to the WA Mack Muster & Truck Show at Quarry Farm, WA.

We’re proud to be the meet-up location where drivers will roll in, connect up, and head off together in convoy. And lucky for us, that means we get to see plenty of incredible trucks up close before they hit the road again!

A community event will be held on Saturday, 14th March 2026 at the Kimba Recreation Reserve, where many of the trucks will be on display prior to departing on Monday 16th March.

They’ll be in town for a few days, bringing plenty of energy, excitement and a whole lot of horsepower our way. We’re pretty chuffed to have them stopping here and can’t wait to see the buzz it brings to town.

👋 Meet Trevor Cliff — Eyre Hub Board Member

Trevor grew up in Kimba and is a third-generation farmer. Together with his wife Kerri, he runs Cliff Farms, now transitioning to their kids Randall and Mel.

He’s always been active in the community — from Rural Youth and Apex to leading the Kimba Tennis Association and the local Ag Show.

💬 “Eyre Hub is about helping our town thrive. We’ve done well with Grey Nomads — now we need to support the truckies and create space for industry to grow.”

Trevor’s also been on the boards of the Kimba Hotel, EP Storage, EPCBH — and of course, Eyre Hub.

🎤 He says he’s a man of few words… until you hand him a mic and a topic he loves!
