Service Update – Parrabah

We had planned to return Parrabah to full service from tomorrow morning following her scheduled slipping. However, this will now occur slightly later than anticipated, with the vessel expected to return to service around midday tomorrow.

After a vessel re-enters the water following maintenance, a number of mandatory compliance and safety checks must be completed before the vessel can carry passengers. These checks will take place throughout the morning to ensure everything is operating safely.

We appreciate everyone’s patience while we complete these important checks and look forward to returning to a full two-vessel service tomorrow.

Thank you for your understanding.

Service update for Monday 16th March: We have identified the mechanical fault with The Bowen which will mean the vessel is non-operational for the next 2 days. We have prioritised getting Parrabah back from its year 5 survey slipping and will return on Monday afternoon therefore we will commence the day on a 40 minute timetable. Tuesday will see the return of the published timetable.

We understand the frustration and appreciate everyone’s patience over this period. Please consider your travel for any non-essential travel over this time.
