Tell me how… How am I supposed to run an affordable service when the cost of diesel is so high?

My business has always been 2 things… reliable, and affordable. My reliability isn’t going anywhere. But my affordability is being sentenced to death by these ridiculous prices. I don’t want to have to close my doors and hope that in a month or two they’ll come back down to a more reasonable price. But I can also understand that the average person who wants a small parcel taken from Sydney to Brisbane can’t fathom paying $180-$200 when literally 4 weeks ago I would’ve only charged $100.

I’m going to keep trying and doing my best at keeping myself on the road. But I cannot allow myself personally to fall under. We are all out here to make a buck at the end of the day, we all have bills to pay. This is hard, and disheartening. I worry for the future, but I’ll do my best 🤍

Is anyone else mad at that one Yellow dot on the wrong side 🤣
It’s been busy over here doing deliveries of Fencing products, our usual wall panels, drums of paint and quite a few four-wheel-drive bars and steps.
I’m sad I didn’t get a photo but I got to meet the cutest golden retrievers yesterday and of all things, their names were Nacho and Sushi! How cute!
I am off to Sydney today and tomorrow 🙂
