Hi everyone 😊
We would like to inform families of the following changes to our school bus service beginning 6th February 2019.
• Our bus will now be known as the number 6 WOMBAT Bus 🚌 ( previously we were number 7 monkey bus)
• The service will now start from the Pipers River Rd, Glen Road intersection @ 7:50am, travelling along the Glen Rd.
• Please read the attached timetables ( as set out by the Dept of State Growth) for any variation to previous pick up/ drop off times.

We look forward to welcoming back our previous travellers along with some new faces too 😊

Good morning! Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays.
Have a great first day, stay safe on the roads and remember ... Stop, Look & Listen 😊

School is back today on the first day of , so drivers are reminded that reduced speed zones around schools are now in effect.

As part of this week, we’ll be posting about the Top 10 Misunderstood Road Rules – # 1 is School Zones:

🚌 Flashing lights on a school bus mean the bus has stopped to load or unload students - the law requires you to slow to 40kmh or less within 50m;
🚶‍♂️Wherever possible pedestrians should cross at designated crossings;
👩‍👧‍👧Supervise young children while they wait at bus stops or cross roads;
🚦Slow down and obey all traffic speed signs and stop for crossing guards on the road;
👫 Drive with due care and attention and be alert to children's movements
🚗 Obey parking laws around school zones.

As always, safety is our number one priority and that’s why we'll be conducting speed checks across State-wide school zones and monitoring motorist behaviour.

We’ll also be ensuring drivers comply with school parking zones and no standing zones because these are important measures to help make sure children and traffic can come and go safely.

Wow, what a wet and wild start to the week. Apologies for any inconvenience this morning, but it was entirely out of our control. With trees down and roads closures, we were unable to make the complete journey to school.
As with every other day, the safety of our passengers and fellow road users is of utmost importance.
School has now been closed so there will be no service this afternoon - Monday 6th June.

Welcome back to all our students and their families for the first day of school for Term 2. Have a great day and travel safe :-)

School's back next week, so drivers are being reminded that reduced speed zones around schools will be in effect from Tuesday (26 April).

As always, safety is our number one priority and that’s why we'll be conducting speed checks across State-wide school zones and monitoring motorist behaviour.

We’ll also be ensuring drivers comply with school parking zones and no standing zones because these are important measures to help make sure children and traffic can come and go safely.

It’s also a good time to remind drivers and pedestrians of a few road safety tips around schools:
