Another awesome weekend away competing. This weekend was the South East Queensland team penning championships hosted by Gympie Horse & Rodeo Association. 104 teams rode in a series of heats over Saturday and Sunday. It was an aggregate event, so the results of the heats got added up and the top 14 teams battled it out in a final round this afternoon. I’m so proud of our team for riding with so much heart and placing 4th overall. Thank you very much to our sponsor, CJL Transport and Earthmoving. We are enjoying a fantastic year of riding. Congratulations to the winners and all competitors and thanks to the club, sponsors, volunteers, cattle donors and everyone behind the scenes. Also, I want to make special mention of my wonderful and unique little stock horse, ‘Credit.’ Every single time I ride, he gives more than 100%. The relationship I have with this horse is truly incredible. This one’s for you, my dear boy ❤️
