A huge congratulations to James Foster, who is currently competing in the Trans-Tasman Solo Ocean Race and performing exceptionally well.
To qualify for the race, James sailed Electron solo across the Tasman Sea — an achievement that speaks volumes about his skill, determination, and seamanship. It also highlights the strength, reliability, and offshore capability of the Tim Mumby 48.
We are proud to have been part of the build of Electron and to see her proving herself in some of the toughest offshore conditions. It’s a testament to quality construction, thoughtful design, and a sailor who knows how to get the very best from his vessel.
With Electron now around halfway across the Tasman, we wish James a safe passage, fair winds, and a successful completion of the race.
