Killybegs was our gateway to County Donegal where we did a hike through farmlands to the Disert Graveyard. Ancient ruins that date back to the 6th Century.
The ruins are now the sight for an annual pilgrimage on the 9th of June each year.

A very late update from my cruise on Ponant Le Laperouse.

Day 5 saw us arrive into the port of Greencastle, located around 45 minutes from Derry.
Here we decided to do a half day tour which included a visit to the Peacemakers Museum, where we heard from a journalist who had been jailed for 14 years during "The Troubles".
With not nearly enough time in Derry, I will certainly be returning.

Next port was Warrenpoint where visited Navan Fort, which turned out to be large mounds in which the fort was buried under 🤦‍♀️. Although we did get a glimpse into life in the middld ages.

The following day was Belfast where we headed out along the spectacular coastline to the Giant's Causeway. Need to cime back again to check out the city of Belfast and the Titanic museum.

Our first stop on the cruise was Cork where we kissed the Blarney Stone, wandered the stunning gardens 🌲and had an Irish Coffee.

The following day was the quaint Welsh town of Fishguard with it's stone circles and seaside walk.
Whilst here we did an excursion to St David's Cathedral, which is located in smallest city in the UK (also called St Davids).

Welcome to Hollywood!

A quick stopover on my way to Ireland for a Ponant Cruise.

Also checked out Koreatown however not what I expected (I thought it might be like China town, but it isnt), although I did get plastic gloves to eat my food with.

Courtesy of , I had the pleasure of attending a preview of The Lion King stage production last night in Sydney. 🦁🎭 The talented cast were simply amazing, and I was left speechless by the incredible costuming 🦒.

As I watched I was remined of the many times I watched the movie when my children were young 📺. The show kept children enthralled and adults amused the occasional dad joke.

This is truly a show not to be missed! 🌟 If you have a group wanting to attend, please contact me as I have access to group tickets. 🎟️👑
