Refit complete on this Carribean 23.
We moved the anchor bulkhead to accomodate a new drum winch, repaired years of bangs and scrapes and resprayed the hull and deck including new nonskid to side decks.

Old girl looks great and ready for the rest of summer!

Congrats to Mr Plow, Noah, Andrew and Harry!

Noah and his team have been close the last two years with two second places in a row since stepping into a new Yacht Lab sharpie and today they got the job done!

Old man Emu also produced some great results and are looking great on the water.

Good luck to American Magic and Alinghi Red Bull Racing for today’s do or die racing in the LV challenger series.

Our pad eyes are on board both boats and we are proud to support both these teams no matter what the results.

More of Yacht Lab’s shiny carbon bling headed off the Barcelona and AC37 for team Alinghi Red Bull Racing.

This order makes over 1200 soft pad eyes that have been installed in this edition of the AC37 and are helping teams on their quest for the “Auld Mug”.

Today was my last day at Yacht Lab!

I just wanted to say a huge thanks to Ross and Grant for helping me out over the past couple of months.

These guys are a small SA business that have really gone out of their way to assist in this campaign which I am extremely grateful for!

If you are looking for high quality work done to your yacht or powerboat, please keep these guys in mind. I've seen various jobs they have done since I have been in the workshop and can ensure you will have quality work done.

Congrats to all who competed in the latest instalment of the Australian Sharpie Nationals in Mordiallic. Congrats to Jason and his team
On a flawless regatta.

With 5 Yacht Lab hulls on the start line for this nationals and 2 competing in the first national hit out it was a great result for the Yacht Lab cartel.

Congrats go to Noah and his team Mr Plow for his 2nd place finish and also to Wenty in Floki and Blackers in Sassy Foods who finished close to the podium.

All 5 boats had some great results all finishing in the top 15 of the hot fleet!

Plenty of Yacht Lab gear on offer over the regatta with a stack of blades, Stic-It Composite Soft Pad Eyes packs and some Ronstan Sailing gear donated to the cause.

Today marked the invitation race at the 80th Sharpie Australian Sharpie Nationals.

Both races were sponsored by Yacht Lab and Ronstan Sailing after teaming up to support the class that supports us.

Some Gucci prizes on offer from Yacht Lab, Stic-It Composite Soft Pad Eyes and Ronstan Australia 🇦🇺.

Yacht Lab number 5 is on her way home!

N950 “Old Man Emu” was picked up by her excited owners from Yacht Lab HQ yesterday, measured last night and on the road home by the evening!

Featuring a new shiny set of Yacht Lab foils, carbon rudder stock, boom ears, compass bracket all made in house, as well as mast, boom, jinker and all fittings sourced and supplied by us.

A mostly Ronstan Sailing fitout, with a few mixed items from Harken Australia Pty Ltd and DeckHardware to finish it off.

Thanks to Chis, John, Mal and Maddy for with your time last night.

A local VXONE in for some flashy bits and some trailer up grades over the last few weeks.

The mast and spreaders got a good coat of Durapox Clear from Logix Group to help keep the UV at bay.

The factory trailer bunk rubber got replaced with some 12mm routed EVA foam from Aggravated Cutting. Shaped in the workshop to suit the bunks and keep the keel padded whilst letting water drain away. Fancy and functional!

The hull received a full polish, and Mclube as well.
Ready for 2023’s sailing season!

Yacht Lab hull number 4 is finished, measured and had its first shake down sail at the first round of the SA Sharpies states over the weekend showing it’s not far off the pace!

With a bespoke build for an owner who knew what they wanted, the boat I’m sure will turn some heads.

Fitted out with a combination of Allen Sailing and Ronstan Sailing fittings plus plenty of Stic-It Composite Soft Pad Eyes. Finished with some swish EVA foam installed by Element Sails 👌

A custom console and rudder stock was built in house to suit the owner’s requirements.
