The cost of not trusting yourself isn’t always obvious.

It’s not just the opportunities you don’t take.

It’s the energy spent second-guessing yourself.

The conversations you replay in your head.

The decisions you delay.

The dreams you put on hold while waiting for certainty.

For years, I thought I needed more information before I could move forward.

Another opinion.
Another course.
Another sign.

What I actually needed was to trust myself enough to take the next step.

Not because I knew everything.

But because I knew enough.

Looking back, I can see that self-trust wasn’t built when everything felt certain.

It was built every time I chose myself despite the uncertainty.

What you can’t see in this photo is the years I spent doubting myself.

This photo was taken at my daughter’s wedding as I stood in front of family and friends to share a reading.

Looking at it now, it would be easy to assume I’ve always been confident in my voice.

The truth is, there were years when I second-guessed everything.

Years of wondering if I was good enough.

Years of looking outside myself for answers.

Years of seeking permission before making decisions that were mine to make.

What I’ve learned is that self-trust isn’t something you’re born with.

It’s something you build.

One decision at a time.

One boundary at a time.

One moment of listening to yourself instead of everyone else at a time.

Today, the women I work with often arrive feeling disconnected from their own inner wisdom.

They know something needs to change, but they don’t trust themselves enough to take the next step.

I understand that feeling because I’ve lived it.

And if there’s one thing I know for certain, it’s this:

The answers you’re searching for aren’t somewhere outside of you.

They’re waiting for you to trust yourself enough to listen.

After leaving my marriage, I felt excited by the possibility of finally being who I wanted to be and creating a life that felt like mine again.

The only problem was… I had no idea what that actually looked like.

Somewhere along the way, I had lost myself in the roles I had been playing in my own life.

That began my journey into understanding feminine rhythm, energy, boundaries, cycles and self-awareness.

And what I discovered was this…

So many women are trying to force themselves to operate in ways that don’t actually support them.

The more I began understanding myself, the more compassion I had for myself.

I stopped fighting myself.

And slowly, I began creating a life that felt more aligned, intentional and free.
