The new heavy vehicle law is now in effect

The amended HVNL officially commenced 1 August 2026. If you run trucks in Australia, this affects you - right now, not eventually.

The biggest change?
There is now a General Safety Accreditation module that you need before you can access any of the other modules.

What that means:
- Auditors want to see your processes WORK, not just exist
- You need proper evidence trails.
- Your audit process will be more in depth and take a lot longer as you will have to show how the system is working not just show the completed documentation
