Another Iconic Business Bites the Dust!!
We are blown out that Beach Beat Surf Shop has gone into administration. Life and recreation on the water are woven into the fabric of who we are here on the Sunny Coast.
Beach Beat was one of the “iconic” businesses here in Caloundra for the last 40 years - just like Bill’s Boat Hire - celebrating 70 years this year…..it’s “iconic” and feels like it is a “forever” business - part of the landscape!
If you don’t use it, you lose it - and yes, we are currently in the “same boat” as many Small Businesses doing it tuff. At times wondering “is it worth” keeping the doors open????
All of us locals need to shop local and support small business in our community.
Buy local day is coming up on June 27 but every day should be “buy local” day. Please support all us Small Businesses - run by local families, who love what they do, love this community and are willing to show up 7 days a week to make ends meet. ⚓️🛶🛥️🚣🙏😎
