GC Sails proving for the second time this week that we can hold our own at the pointy end.

Hot on the heels of our successful 18ft Skiff campaign launch last week, GC Sails Apexᵣ secured a win at the Gold Coast IRC Championships aboard the Fast 40 Aramex.

After extensive development and dedication to the sport, GC Sails has developed a genuine Grand Prix sail platform, with Apexᵣ delivering where it matters most on the racecourse.

Joel and the boys took a solid 4th place in Day 1 of the 18 footers Nationals. Today is looking like more rain and less wind 😅

While bossman Joel Turner is up measuring sails and cruising around Lady Musgrave, our other bossman Caedric Reader is fairing the seas this weekend aboard Moneypenny Sailing in the Blue Water Tollgate.

Meanwhile, our talented apprentice Angus Wheatley is making waves in Sydney, competing in the Manly 16ft Skiff Port Jackson Championships.

We’re incredibly proud of our team — professionals at the top of their field, dedicated to precision craftsmanship, customer service and a shared love of sailing. From custom sail design to race-day performance, there’s no crew more committed to excellence.

⚓️ Keeping You Racing ⚓️

The past few weeks have thrown some big challenges at sailors, with several boats facing regatta ending breakages.

When the pressure was on, GC Sails stepped in jumping onboard for urgent repairs, sourcing hard to find parts, and even organizing a full replacement mainsail to keep teams on the water.

This is what we pride ourselves on: service, commitment, and solutions when you need them most.

We love the challenge of keeping you sailing, no matter what it takes. 💪⛵️

We have more exciting news!!

We are very excited to announce that Multihull Tramps has undergone a change of ownership and is now owned and managed by GC Sails! Both QLD based brands proudly produce Australian-made products and work closely within the marine industry. Gordon Myers has handed over the reigns after 20 years of servicing multihulls around the World and we wish him the best in his well-earned retirement. Moving forwards, all Multihull Tramps will be crafted on the Gold Coast. We look forward to assisting cruisers and racers with this great product along with the fantastic service we strive for each day. Check out the Multihull Tramps page or website for more information!
