Bright 2025!

We stayed at Bright and travelled to Mount buffalo for the kids to toboggan and Harrison decided he wanted a go at snowboarding. He absolutely smashed it!

We fitted a diesel heater and use a fan heater in the van so the van never felt cold and we were able to dry anything that may of got wet. Best investment in the van is the diesel heater, floor was warm to walk on in the mornings and works better than the van heater.

Highlights
* the snow - kids loved it! At such a good age where they can learn the skills and listen
* ladys Bath falls, amazing! A must see

Bright has all you need a woolworths, plenty of places for a night out and all the ski gear to hire.

Ned Kelly museum- Glenrowan VIC

Such a cool little stop, the museum goes through Ned Kelly's life and the choices he made.
Had an exact replica of the Kelly family home, and a friendly cat.
There is a little scavenger hunt for the kids to do so you can read the history.
Lots of little artefacts from the time Ned Kelly was around.

Darwin Fish feeding at Aquascene🐟🐟

Sound on so you can here the kids excitement!!
We spend over an hour and a half feeding them! They are completely wild fish and can change everyday which fish come in, they come in with the high tide so check Aquascene fish feeding website for daily times.
Adults are $15 and children $10, or $43 for a family, I was unsure if it's worth the money but I am glad we went, the kids loved it and you can stand in the water with fish coming up, there were also sting rays that came in.
They started the company in 1964 and have been feeding the fish every since, and have never seen a croc in the area, (a few ppl asked😂), but the do tell you to stand in ankle deep😉

Millstream National Park, WA

We missed this one last year so it was nice to get here this year.

We camped at the campground for a couple of nights, which was so good, camp kitchen, toilets and shade.

We went to python pools hoping to swim but the water had a bit of green in it so didn't risked another ear infection for Harrison.

So we then drove to deep reach, which is part of the fortescue river, which looked amazing until we get to the steps to get in and found 20 cat fish hanging around! No one was keen to swim 😂
But the scenery made up for it. Hard to believe it's still so different then the Hamersley ranges when they are so close.
We loved it❤❤

A few professional photos from the tour😂

We went with , and boy do they go above and beyond!

Having two young kids you are always distracted with watching them, but the girls helped by taking the kids for rides on the floaties so we could have a good look when the whale shark went passed.

The food was amazing, all staff were knowledgeable and highly skilled. They have their own spotter, so not sharing them with the other tour companies and they tend to head in a different direction so you get a greater chance of have the whale shark to yourselves.

They supply everything, we only took the kids life jackets just in case they got tired but they didn't really need them.

Water temp is so good so if you in the area book it in!

Our kids will be talking about this for a long time, and so will we.

Check these guys out!

Harrison learnt to snorkel!!
We seen a turtle but was a bit further away so it swam around us, kids loved seeing all the fish and coral!
Best of all only metres from where we camped.❤🌊🐟

Steep Point!

Rough and slow drive in but the view makes up for it. To be able to camp metres from the water is so good.

As we did the trip last year we didn't do much exploring, we just parked up at our camp site and enjoyed view.

No Van so just swags and a travel buddy, and a windy night.

Kids love the swags, it's something different and we all get to enjoy a movie and snack at night😀

Kalbarri National Park.

We missed this last year due to the cyclone damage so we were very excited to get there this year.

It is a beautiful part of Australia, the nature's window is so much better in person, and skywalk is a must if in the area.

We did the Z-bend walk, only 1.2km return, and Ross Graham and Hawks head look out.

Lots of little walks to do but at 37 degrees we gave some a miss. 🥵

Kalbarri Natural Bridge.

Short little work to get to the cliff face and check out this little cool natural Bridge. Only about 16km from the town centre.
