It’s been quite a while but we’ve just installed a Tech Safe Post into a Range Rover. Being a pre-1994 four-wheel drive vehicle it was not mandatory for child anchor points to be factory installed at the time. Haven’t seen one for a while but 30 years ago we did plenty of them. The Range Rover (this model) can’t take a CRAB Bar so the Tech Safe Post was developed and tested to suit this purpose. The post is removable from the base channel if cargo space is required when not carrying a child in a restraint. Aaaah, the memories!!!!

Hino Crew Cab Truck - has 4x seat belts in the rear cabin, but no child restraint anchor points. We installed a child restraint anchorage system on the two outer positions, which allows for the tether strap to run upwards, as the back seat rest is fixed and there’s no access behind it. All fully Engineer Approved ✅👍😎

Nissan Patrol, about to get a set of drawers put in on the rear floor area that will cover the child seat anchor points. CRAB Bar installed, also bringing the centre seating position into play for a baby seat if required…..

Fresh new Ford Ranger Wildtrak - comes with two outer position anchor points but sadly, no centre anchor point for a child seat.

Yes, there is a way - a Dual Cab Device alternative, the “D Ring Kit”, does the job. The top D Ring is actually a seat belt shackle, it will hold the weight of an adult & acts as the fulcrum to take the weight of a baby/child and the baby/child seat in an accident situation.

Fully engineered, safe, and brings the centre seating position into play for you. In this case, for grandparents with three grandkids ❤️

Isuzu NPR 155 Truck in for a couple of child seat anchor points to be retro installed. Tradie Dad still needs to collect the kids from pre-school safely and the kids also want to ride in Dads truck!!

Hyundai Staria, installed a CRAB Bar so that a forward facing child seat can be anchored safely in the front passenger seat. The bar is removable from the end brackets if cargo space is needed. All approved under Authorised NSW Govt (RMS) authorised fitter certification.
