Once complete, the purpose-built facility will support more than 700 aeromedical transfers each year, improving safety, efficiency and comfort for patients, families and clinical teams during critical moments.
This project is being delivered through a strong partnership between Gladstone Airport Corporation, the Australian Government , Gladstone Regional Council and industry partners Rio Tinto , Santos GLNG, Shell's QGC business and ConocoPhillips APLNG.
Thank you to everyone who joined us to mark this significant milestone for Gladstone and our wider community.
